I went to high school with Shawni and Saren Eyre (they didn't know me from Adam, but I knew who they were). Well Shawni is now a mother to five children and her youngest, Lucy, has been diagnosed with a very rare condition. You can read about it HERE.
They are hoping to raise money, to find a cure for some of the things that are looming in Lucy's future. They've written a book on mothering secrets, which I bought myself last year. I've loved it. Inspiring.
Maybe I should have read it a few hours ago before I lost it with one of my children (I hate it when that happens).
It's just my plug for a beautiful little girl before she loses her sight (and for mothers like me who need ALL the help they can get).
