and he brought us a card from someone who helped us with Connor's funeral. He had written a very kind note and he mentioned that in his work binder he keeps Connor's program (which was so beautifully done by one of my BIL's). In his note he metioned how he see's the program and thinks of us and our son.
He was afraid that by writing he would dig up old wounds.
But it had the opposite affect!
It touched me.
His card made me think ALL the Christmas cards that we recieved this year! We had more Christmas cards sent to us than we have EVER had during our entire married life. It was so fun for all of us, to tape them around our window in the dining room, and to recall the fun memories we've had with each of our friends.
So thanks for sending the Christmas cards. Know that our family LOVED receiving them.
