Colored Snow

What's there to do on a boring, warm winter afternoon with a layer of snow on the ground?

Hmmm, rack the brain for ideas and recall an old preschool favorite...fill a squirt bottle with colored water and wait to see a five year old boy's joy!  Colored snow is the coolest!

Later he asked me, "Mom, if I spray regular water on it, will it erase it?" 

I love how this boy's mind works.
